Avondale offers the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme, focusing on the development of the whole child as an inquirer, at school and throughout life. Avondale Elementary is also a Cognia STEM certified school.

Welcome to our new and returning parents and students! It's the start of the new school year. Open House provides parents and students an opportunity to meet teachers and receive pertinent information about AES!

First Day of School: August 3

Welcome to the First Day of School for the 2026-27 school year, Monday, August 3! Drop off begins at 7:00-7:35 am. Students are dismissed to their class at 7:25 am. Breakfast is available! Don't be tardy by arriving at 7:45 am or later! See you soon!

Back to School Spirit Night at Skips & Town Green

July 28, 2026

Gather with friends for the Back to School Spirit Night at Skips and Town Green on August 18 from 4-8 pm! Skips will donate 15% of proceeds back to the AESF! Eat at Skips or join other AES families under the pavilion while we eat together and enjoy free popsicles from the AES Foundation!
