Avondale offers the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme, focusing on the development of the whole child as an inquirer, at school and throughout life. Your Voice Is Needed TODAY!

URGENT: Avondale Families, Your Voice Is Needed NOW! The DCSD Board is finalizing their school facilities plan this week — and community input closes SUNDAY, 11/9! We’re asking the DeKalb County School Board, the DCSD Builds Team, and Dr. Sauce to support a new high school campus for our Avondale cluster at the current DSA/Old Avondale High site on Clarendon Avenue.

AES Playground Refresh Project

We’re looking for volunteers and community partners to help bring our “refreshed” playground vision to life! If you’re a contractor, builder, or supplier with experience in landscaping, construction, outdoor structures, murals, and more, we’d love your expertise on our Playground Refresh Committee.

Veteran’s Day Parade

Join our students in honoring veterans at our Veteran's Day Parade at the school on Tuesday, November 11 at 1:00 pm. We invite our AES family members who are veterans and wish to participate.
